Hello, I’m Rebecca, co-founder of My Homeschool Village, alongside my incredible partner, Heather Leach. Between the two of us, we’ve homeschooled for over 20 years and raised nine kids. Building Connections and Finding the Right Groups

If you’re planning to join our co-op groups, it’s essential that your kids are placed in the right group based on their ages and interests. For example, Christina has kids aged 13, 11, and 9, and they’ve been homeschooled for a while. We love to see experienced homeschool families join our village because you’ll truly appreciate the systems we’ve created to make lesson planning and group activities easier.

If you’re wondering where to get started, just let us know your children’s ages, and Ann, one of our co-op organizers, will ensure they’re placed in the right group that fits their needs.

Minecraft Education: Learning and Bonding through Fun

One of the most beloved aspects of our community is our Minecraft Education Groups. We run two groups—one for kids 11 and under, and another for older students. If your child feels more comfortable in a different age group, we’re flexible. Minecraft sessions are not only a time for fun but also for bonding, learning teamwork, and encouraging each other to stay on top of their lessons.

It’s not uncommon to hear our kids asking, “Is your homework done? Minecraft starts in an hour!” This peer-driven motivation is just one of the many ways our village encourages collaboration and accountability in a fun and friendly environment.

Lesson Plans Made Easy

If you’re looking for a simpler way to navigate lesson plans, don’t worry—we’ve got you covered! Our team is dedicated to making sure everything runs smoothly for you and your children. We offer personalized help, whether it’s through live school sessions, a quick video tutorial, or answering any questions you have about getting set up.

Co-op Groups That Meet Your Schedule

We know that managing your time is critical, which is why our co-op groups and activities are flexible. For example, if your kids love Minecraft, our sessions typically run from 9 PM to 11 PM, but we also offer earlier activities for those who prefer daytime learning. Whether it’s Monday, Wednesday, or Friday, we’ve got something for everyone.

Our co-op groups extend far beyond Minecraft. They’re designed to offer a rich, immersive experience for kids where they can bond, learn, and grow together in various subjects. Ann sums it up perfectly: “We have a lot of great co-op get-togethers, and we learn so much along the way.”
